Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants to sign German full-back Niklas Sule from Hoffenheim as part of his summer overhaul.
Sule has been a regular at centre back for the Bundesliga side this sesason, prescription making 34 appearances, pharmacy and Klopp views him as a potential replacement for Slovakian Martin Skrtel.
Hoffenheim would demanded figure in the region of £10m for Sule, for sale and a bid is likely to be funded by the sale of Skrtel.
If Sule did sign for the Reds, he would join a growing German contingent at Anfield with Emre Can, and Schalke defender Joel Matip already set join this summer on a pre-contract agreement.
