Long-standing Liverpool transfer target Arda Turan is set to be available this summer as Barcelona prepare to listen to offers for the midfielder.
Numerous sources had linked Turan with a move to Anfield prior to last summer’s move to the Camp Nou, but those hopes appeared to be dashed with a £29 million switch.
However the Daily Mirror claim that the Turkey international is unhappy with life at the Catalan giants and is “desperate” for a move away after less than a year.
Since his debut in January against Espanyol, Turan has managed less than 800 minutes first team playing time, scoring just twice for Barca.
The 29-year-old has made no secret of his love for Liverpool, notably telling Four Four Two: “I am a Liverpool supporter, so if I go to play in Europe, I would like to play for Liverpool”.
