Salah’s agent dismisses Liverpool future claims

Mohamed Salah’s agent has appeared to dismiss claims about the Liverpool winger’s future.

Reports claimed that the Egypt international was set to be offered a new £200,000-per-week contract at Anfield to ward off potential suitors.

Real Madrid are expected to make an approach for Salah this summer, which was said to have prompted fears that the Reds could ose their record-breaking marksman.

It was also claimed that the 25-year-old had told friends that he will remain with the Merseyside club next season.

But Salah’s representative Ramy Abbas Issa laughed off the claims on Twitter.

“We don’t discuss career plans ‘with friends’.”, he wrote.

Salah is enjoying an unprecedented debut season at Liverpool with 36 goals in all competitions.
