Everton are reportedly keen on a January move for Theo Walcott.
Alexandre Lacazette’s summer arrival has pushed Walcott further down the pecking order at Arsenal, where he has faced limited playing time.
He is yet to start a Premier League game this season and has featured as a substitute for Arsene Wenger’s side on just three occasions to date.
That has sparked interest from Everton, who are known to be looking to strengthen their forward line after failing to replace Romelu Lukaku last year.
According to the Mirror, the Blues have already sounded out Arsenal about Walcott’s potential availability next month with a view to a move.
The 28-year-old only has 18 months remaining on his £140,000 per week deal and could be tempted to leave London in search of regular game time.
Walcott has largely failed to live up to expectations at the Emirates Stadium after his original move from Southampton in 2006.
But Sam Allardyce is thought to rate the England international as he looks to continue Everton’s revival under his leadership.
