Misfit offered Everton escape by former club

Malaga have offered Sandro Ramirez an escape from his Everton nightmare.

The striker joined the Blues last summer but has struggled to adapt to life in the Premier League under three different managers this season.

Since Ronald Koeman’s departure in October saw Sandro’s struggles continue, playing just two games against Crystal Palace and Atalanta in the Europa League.

Inter Milan and Valencia previously expressed interest in the Spain international but Malaga have now joined the battle for his signature.

Michel Gonzalez worked with Sandro during his final months with Los Albicelestes and remains optimistic of the player’s return to Andalusia.

Asked about Malaga’s chances, he said: “I’m hopeful.

“Players play where they want, and I think Sandro wants to come and play for Malaga again.

“From there, everything is subjective and depends on certain situations and negotiations.”
