Davy Klaassen could leave Everton in a shock January transfer window exit.
The Holland international arrived at Goodison Park in June as part of a £23.6 million move from Ajax but has seen his first-team opportunities limited.
Like fellow signing Sandro Ramirez, Klaassen has not featured for the Blues since October’s Europa League defeat to Lyon – Ronald Koeman’s penultimate game.
Koeman’s mid-season departure has seen Klaassen’s game-time further restricted but the playmaker has been offered an unlikely escape in the Turkish Super Lig.
According to Sporx, Fenerbahce are exploring a potential loan deal for the 24-year-old, who previously captained Ajax to last season’s Europa League final.
Football agent Hasan Cetinkaya is said to have met with Everton officials on behalf of the Istanbul-based club to discuss a short-term deal for the player.
In allowing Klaassen to temporarily move to the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium, the Toffees would receive a fee in the region of £2.24m.
