Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admits he is ‘still looking’ in the transfer market.
Movement is likely to happen on either side of Anfield’s revolving door before the August 31 deadline amid uncertainty over Philippe Coutinho’s future.
The Brazil international continues to attract interest from Barcelona while the Reds are tracking a number of targets including Southampton’s Virgil van Dijk.
To date only three players have joined Liverpool this summer in the form of Mohamed Salah, Andrew Robertson and Dominic Solanke.
But while Klopp insists that he is on the look-out for players, he insists that he would still be happy if the current squad was to remain unchanged.
He said: “The transfer market is difficult worldwide.
“We are still looking. Of course we think about what we can do.
“If the transfer window would have ended yesterday we already would have a team I would like and can play football with.
“August 31st will be a busy day. If we’re involved in that day I’m not too sure.”
