Everton are looking to Paris Saint-Germain’s Presnel Kimpembe to further strengthen their defence.
Kimpembe enjoyed an impressive season for the Ligue 1 giants, making 19 appearances as Unai Emery’s side secured a second-place finish.
The France under-21 international drew attention from clubs across Europe with stellar performances including in a 4-0 Champions League win over Barcelona.
A host of European teams are tracking Kimpembe with Inter Milan and Liverpool both credited with interest, but the Blues are planning to step up their pursuit.
Ronald Koeman is looking to bolster Everton’s back line following the £30 million club-record arrival of Michael Keane from Burnley earlier this month.
However reports in France claim that Goodison Park officials will face a battle to land the 21-year-old with PSG said to be unwilling to sell the player at any price.
According to RMC Sport, Les Parisiens are not entertaining the prospect of offloading Kimpembe, who has four years remaining on his existing deal.
