Everton are set to go head to head with AC Milan for Sevilla’s Sergio Rico.
Ronald Koeman is expected to continue his overhauling of the Blues’ goalkeeping department following the record capture of Jordan Pickford from Sunderland.
The Everton manager is expected to offload Joel Robles following four seasons and reports in Spain claim that Rico has emerged as a potential successor.
According to Cadena Cope, the 23-year-old is under consideration for a move to Goodison Park although Milan are also in the hunt for the player.
The Serie A giants are particularly keen to take on Rico amid uncertainty over the future of their own promising young stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
However the two-time Europa League winner’s release clause with Sevilla stands at €30 million (£26.3m), which is likely to price Milan out of a potential move.
Rico previously attracted interest from both Everton and local rivals Liverpool.
