Everton are interested in signing Paul Pogba’s brother Florentin.
The St Etienne defender is preparing to enter the final year of his current contract and will be available this summer for a reduced fee from the Ligue 1 side.
Pogba had previously emerged as a potential target for Arsenal but the Blues are reportedly the only Premier League side in the race for the player’s signature.
According to Jeune Afrique, the Guinea international has been identified by Ronald Koeman to offer depth for his side’s new Europa League campaign.
The 26-year-old faced his brother when St Etienne took on United in the quarter finals of last season’s competition, describing it as a ‘dream come true’.
However Bundesliga runners-up RB Leipzig are preparing to rival Everton for Pogba with the added incentive of offering Champions League football.
