Everton striker Arouna Kone will leave the club this summer, Ronald Koeman has confirmed.
Large parts of Kone’s four years on Merseyside have been disrupted by injury, with the striker making just 60 appearances for the Blues during that time.
A proposed switch to Crystal Palace fell through at the eleventh hour on transfer deadline day in February as the Ivorian’s Goodison Park career ticked down.
And Everton manager Koeman has confirmed that the former Sevilla and PSV Eindhoven hit man will not be offered a new deal at the end of this season.
He said: “Arouna has finished his contract and will leave the club at end of the season.”
