Ronald Koeman is refusing to make a decision on Gerard Deulofeu’s Everton future until the end of this season.
Deulofeu was allowed to join AC Milan on loan during the January transfer window after failing to force his way regularly into the Blues manager’s plans.
Reports in Italy claim that the Serie A giants remain keen on making the winger’s transfer permanent after impressing in his opening eight outings for the club.
But Milan are also said to be weighing up a move for Barcelona forward Cristian Tello, who is currently on loan with Fiorentina, as an alternative to Deulofeu.
Asked if Deulofeu will remain an Everton player beyond this summer, Koeman replied: “I don’t know.
“We know until the end of the season that he’s still an Everton player.
“But after that, we need to make a decision about what will happen.
“Every question about players for next season is not important at the moment.”
