Sean Dyche has fired a warning to Everton that Burnley are not willing to sell Michael Keane.
Blues manager Ronald Koeman confirmed on Monday that the central defender was a player on his side’s radar in the transfer window.
As well as Everton, Manchester City have also been credited with interest in Keane, who began his playing career with their arch rivals United.
But Dyche insists that the Clarets have no desire to offload the 24-year-old before tonight’s 11pm deadline as they aim to consolidate their Premier League status.
He said: “We’re a club who are looking to add players who we think can take it forward, not get rid of them.
“It’s that balance between people looking at your players and wondering where they will go, and the respect that shows people are taking Burnley seriously.
“That’s the club, the team, the individuals – they’re taking us seriously and noticing that we’ve got some really good players.”
