Everton are ‘working on’ several potential transfer deadline day deals, according to Sky Sports presenter Jim White.
Ronald Koeman has managed to draft in Morgan Schneiderlin and Ademola Lookman already in the window for a combined fees of £36 million.
The Blues manager is refusing to rule out any further incomings ahead of Tuesday’s transfer deadline by identifying Burnley defender Michael Keane.
White has become a close media ally of Farhad Moshiri, even releasing a statement on the Everton majority shareholder’s behalf in recent months.
And the broadcaster forecasts that further dealings are set to be done at Goodison Park between now and tomorrow night’s 11pm cut-off point.
He said: “I have become unassumingly a bit of an Everton fan, that is pretty well known out there.
“I got pretty friendly with the new majority shareholder there Farhad Moshiri and I’ve been watching because I think Evertonians are very excited about Moshiri.
“And what he’ll do and they’re very excited about who they will bring in.
“I know Moshiri and Bill Kenwright are working on a few things so I’d like Everton to come in with some decent names.
“I’m impressed that they got Morgan Schneiderlin and I don’t think it’ll stop there.”
