Kevin Stewart will not be allowed to leave Liverpool despite a number of clubs making enquiries about the midfielder.
The 23-year-old joined the Reds in 2014 after being released by Tottenham and has gone on to make 18 first-team appearances to date in his Anfield career.
He signed a new five-year deal with the club in November but interest from further afield has been a recurring theme with a series of approaches.
Jurgen Klopp rejected a £6 million bid for Stewart last summer from an unnamed club and a host of other sides have now expressed their interest.
According to the Liverpool Echo, West Brom and Swansea, as well as Championship contenders Brighton, Newcastle and Aston Villa have sounded him out.
But Klopp remains determined to hold onto Stewart following his development within the club’s under-23 and senior ranks over the past 12 months.
Liverpool believe that the player’s valuation has increased since arriving on a free transfer and have marked his price tag in the region of £12 million.
