Everton manager Ronald Koeman has revealed that he has discussed potential January signings with the club’s hierarchy.
Koeman is preparing to continue his overhaul of the current Blues squad in the next two transfer windows as he attempts to fashion a side in his own image.
Manchester United duo Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay are expected to secure moves to Goodison Park when the transfer window reopens next month.
Koeman remains tight-lipped on a potential reunion with Schneiderlin, who worked with him at Southampton, despite strong interest from West Brom.
But the Dutchman admits that he has outlined his plans to the club’s board and director of football Steve Walsh.
He said: “I spoke to the board and we spoke with Steve Walsh.
“We mentioned what we need and which kind of players we need to make the squad stronger in January.
“You will see what happens in the coming weeks.”
