Everton are continuing in their efforts to land Napoli striker Manolo Gabbiadini.
Gabbiadini was the subject of interest from the Blues last summer after they lost out to Arsenal to the signing of Deportivo La Coruna forward Lucas Perez.
But despite the Italy international’s willingness to move to Goodison Park, Napoli rebuffed a £14.5 million offer towards the end of the previous transfer window.
Ronald Koeman however remains undeterred and is reportedly plotting to return to the Serie A club next month in a bid to finally secure his intended target.
According to the Daily Mirror, Everton could sign Gabbiadini for between £17.5 million and £20 million after falling out of favour at the Stadio San Paolo.
Even with first-choice striker Arkadiusz Milik set to be sidelined for two months, he is still behind both Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens in the pecking order.
Everton’s largest shareholder Farhad Moshiri last month confirmed the club’s interest in Gabbiadini, who has only scored three goals this season.
