Everton are plotting a move for unwanted Chelsea defender Baba Rahman.
Rahman has made just 15 appearances for the current Premier League leaders and is spending the current season on loan with Schalke.
He has been an ever-present for the Bundesliga side this season with 16 appearances and could be in line for a permanent move to the Veltins Arena.
But the Blues are reportedly set to battle Schalke with Ronald Koeman said to be eyeing the Ghana international in his plans for a major squad overhaul.
Ghana Soccernet claim that Koeman has identified Rahman as a potential long-term successor to veteran left-back Leighton Baines.
