Everton have reportedly revived their interest in signing Porto’s Yacine Brahimi.
Brahimi was in line for a move to Goodison Park last summer but a number of factors proved a barrier from both the player and his current employers.
Since then, the Algerian international has struggled for the Portuguese side with only one goal in eight outings this season and is being heavily tipped to leave.
According to newspaper A Bola, a January move is an inevitable outcome for the 26-year-old, who will represent his country at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Porto’s valuation of Brahimi is likely to be considerably lower than their €40 million asking price in the summer, which will give the Blues a fresh impetus.
