Roberto Firmino has handed Liverpool a major boost ahead of their Europa League with Borussia Dortmund.
Firmino has been out of action since suffering a hamstring injury in the second-leg of the previous round against Manchester United and the was feared to miss tomorrow’s quarter-final first leg at the Signal Iduna Park Stadium.
But earlier today, the Anfield club announced that the former Hoffenheim man would be part of the 20-man party that would travel to the Bundesliga giants.
The Brazilian attacker is a central part of Jurgen Klopp’s system and has travelled with the Reds to Germany, despite initial concerns over his fitness, and will undergo a fitness test ahead of tomorrow’s game.
However Liverpool will still be without Christian Benteke and Lucas Leiva, who both remain sidelined.
