Everton FC and Spurs eyeing Manchester City defender

Everton are vying with Tottenham to land Manchester City’s Tosin Adarbioyo.

The young defender, 19, has made three outings for Pep Guardiola’s side this season but is reportedly stalling on the offer of a new contract with the Citizens.

Should Adarabioyo fail to agree a new deal at the Etihad Stadium before the end of the current campaign, he will be available on a free transfer this summer.

That has alerted Goodison Park officials, who the Daily Mail claim are planning to steal a march on two of their Premier League rivals in the hunt for his signature.

Spurs and Leicester City have emerged as potential suitors for Adarabioyo while Scottish champions Celtic are also said to be considering a move for the player.

Ronald Koeman recently secured promising Charlton forward Ademola Lookman and spoke of the importance of adding more younger players to the Blues’ ranks.
