Kevin Mirallas believes Everton can defy expectation and secure a top-three finish – but only if Romelu Lukaku can maintain his current run of form.
Lukaku finally banished a drought of six months and over 1,000 minutes without a goal for the Blues last month to score in three of his previous four games.
And with Ronald Koeman’s side currently occupying fifth in the Premier League table, Mirallas sees no reason why Everton cannot climb higher with his Belgian compatriot on song.
“We have a team that can compete for the top three,” he told HLN Sport.
“Certainly, if Lukaku keeps on scoring.”
