Everton are set to have a ‘busy’ week of securing signings, according to Ronald Koeman’s assistant.
With little under a fortnight remaining before Tottenham’s opening day visit, the Blues’ recruitment process has been alarmingly slow.
To date, only Maarten Stekelenburg has arrived since the Dutchman succeeded Roberto Martinez in the Goodison Park hot seat back in June.
But Erwin Koeman, now Everton’s assistant manager, anticipates a lively few days of business for both his brother and chairman Bill Kenwright.
He said: “Ronald and the chairman are very busy with that.
“We can talk about a lot of things but in two weeks the league starts and we have to be ready,” he added.
“Not one team in the Premier League is ready for the moment. In two weeks the circus will start.”
