Everton manager Ronald Koeman has sought to reassure fans about the club’s lack of transfer activity.
Maarten Stekelenburg remains the Blues’ solitary player arrival this summer despite a series of off-field changes which included Koeman’s own appointment.
Last week Everton confirmed the appointment of Leicester City’s vaunted talent spotter Steve Walsh as their newly-formed Director of Football.
But Koeman insists that the current lull in recruitment at Goodison Park should not be a cause for concern in the weeks ahead.
“Things will start happening in the coming days and weeks,” he told De Telegraaf.
“Everything will be fine.”
