Everton have completed the signing of Napoli winger Jesper Lindstrom.

Lidstrom becomes the fourth arrival of the summer for Sean Dyche’s side, barely 12 months since he joined the erstwhile reigning Serie A champions.

The Denmark international made 29 appearance for the Partenopei in all competitions but has now moved to Goodison Park on a season-long loan.

He previously rose to prominence with Eintracht Frankfurt, where he was part of their team which won the Europa League under Oliver Glasner in 2022.

“I actually heard of Everton’s interest a while ago – not only from now but previously,” said Lindstrom.

“England is very similar to Denmark so I will feel at home quickly. The people have been very nice and very humble. I’m really looking forward to getting started.

“I’ve spoken to the manager. It sounds as though he likes the way I play football and I can be a good fit for the team with my speed, so now I want to deliver.

“I know he trusts me and that’s another reason I’m here – because I need that trust from the coach and I need trust from my teammates.

“I’m ready to show them I can help.”

Lindstrom is the Blues’ second loanee signing of the summer after fellow winger Jack Harrison returned on another temporary deal from Leeds United.

Also joining him in the ranks are permanent signings Tim Iroegbunam and Iliman Ndiaye, who joined from Aston Villa and Marseille respectively.
