Everton Women striker Toni Duggan is set to leave the club this month.

Duggan rejoined the team where her professional career began in 2021, having enjoyed spells at Manchester City, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

The England international, part of the Blues’ FA Cup-winning team of 2010, made all bar one appearance during the first year of her return in 2021/22.

She did not feature in the following campaign after becoming pregnant with her first child and giving birth to daughter Luella in March 2023.

Duggan returned to action in the opening fixture of the 2023/24 season against Brighton and produced a further 14 appearances and three goals.

But it was confirmed on Wednesday that the 32-year-old is now set to depart Brian Sorensen’s side when her existing contract expires at the end of June.

Alan McTavish, Everton Women’s CEO, said: “Everyone at Everton thanks Toni for her service and commitment to the club.

“From breaking into the senior team as a 16-year-old, to winning the FA Cup, she can be very proud of her contribution to Everton.

“We wish Toni all the best for the future.”
