Sean Dyche has responded to claims Everton could face a points deduction.

A report earlier this week alleged that the Premier League had recommended a 12-point penalty over the club’s alleged breaches of Financial Fair Play.

Goodison Park officials appeared before an independent commission last week as part of the hearing which began with the league’s referral in March.

The Blues vowed to ‘robustly defend’ themselves against the charge after posting losses more than three times over the permitted £105M threshold.

“I think there are loads of stories out there nowadays, particularly things of this type,” said Dyche.

“”But at the end of the day, the commission will decide – and when they do, we’ll find out.”

He added: “We’ve been trying to stay calm within lots of different challenges here.

“I think we mostly have done, trying to get things right on the pitch or better, certainly, and trying to improve other areas of the club.

“There’s so much noise here, to be honest. It’s just another part of it.

“Every time you’re just about getting there, another thing comes up.

“It’s one of them things.”
