Fans urge Moshiri to outline plans for change

An Everton fan group have called on Farhad Moshiri to outline his plans for positive change.

Sunday’s final-day win over Bournemouth saw Sean Dyche’s side narrowly escape relegation from the Premier League for a second season running.

But the mood inside Goodison Park quickly transformed from relief to anger as chants of ‘sack the board’ rang out from all sides after the final whistle.

Blues supporters have consistently protested against their club’s failing hierarchy since the turn of the year as they backslided towards relegation.

The #AllTogetherNow collective implored majority shareholder Moshiri on Monday to address their concerns as potential new investment looms.

“We implore the owner to communicate on the actions he is looking to take that will begin the process of high-level change,” read a statement.

“This can then prove to be the first step towards repairing the fractured relationship between the fans and the club.

“This must be done immediately. We, as fans, custodians and as the beating heart of this football club demand change, and we demand it now.”
