Everton will be without Dominic Calvert-Lewin for their all-important Premier League finale.
Sunday’s visit of Bournemouth sees the Goodison Park club’s unbroken 69-year stay in the English top flight under jeopardy for a second time in as many seasons.
Calvert-Lewin limped out during the first half of last weekend’s eventual 1-1 draw against Wolves with a hamstring problem.
Despite hopes he may return in time for the do-or-die encounter, Sean Dyche confirmed the England international is now sidelined.
The Blues will also be missing Nathan Patterson, another to be withdrawn with hamstring problems at Molineux, as hopes rest on Vitalii Mykolenko returning to avoid heading into the clash with no recognised full-backs available.
“They won’t be fit,” said Dyche.
“We haven’t had Dom for two-thirds of my time here. We’ve still won games and still got points on the board, performed well.
“Patto’s come into the side more latterly, done very well, but we lose him as well.”
