Allan has left Everton for United Arab Emirates-based outfit Al Wahda.
Carlo Ancelotti signed Allan in his only full summer at Goodison Park, having previously worked with the midfield enforcer during their time at Napoli.
The Brazil international went on to make 57 appearances for the Blues under three different managers, including another former boss in Rafael Benitez.
But a host of reinforcements this summer, including the return of Idrissa Gueye, pushed Allan further down the midfield pecking order on Merseyside.
Al Wahda announced the 31-year-old’s exit from Frank Lampard’s side, where he had last featured in a goalless draw with Watford at the end of last season.
“Allan has joined United Arab Emirates club Al Wahda on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee,” confirmed an Everton statement.
“The paperwork for the Brazilian midfielder was finalised on Tuesday.
“Everton thanks Allan for his service and wishes him all the best for the future.”
