Everton will face Mexican side Pumas as part of their revised Florida Cup schedule.
Rafael Benitez’s side were originally due to take part with Colombian outfit Millonarios, Arsenal and Inter Milan in this summer’s Stateside tournament.
But after the Serie A champions and the Blues’ Premier League counterparts both withdrew from the competition due to concerns around Covid-19.
Everton are still scheduled to take on Millonarios on Sunday at Orlando’s Camping World Stadium in a game which will decide the Florida Cup winner.
Separately, a double-header of friendlies will be held three days later with the Toffees’ meeting with Pumas followed by Millonarios against Atletico Nacional.
Speaking ahead of the games, James Rodriguez said: “It’s a great opportunity to play against my countrymen.
“I hope the Colombians fans come to the stands to support us or the clubs they want to support.
“Millonarios have a great reputation in Colombia. It’s a special feeling for me and we are taking this seriously. I’m really focused as I normally am in every match.
“Hopefully it’s going to be a great game for the fans and I hope we can get the win.”
