Two new directors join Everton’s hierarchy

Everton have confirmed the appointment of two new boardroom directors.

Sarvar Ismailov joins the Goodison Park hierarchy after two years with the club, most recently as the Women’s team sporting and commercial director.

He becomes the second representative of Farhad Moshiri at board level and is the nephew of the Blues majority shareholder’s associate Alisher Usmanov.

Grant Ingles is the second appointee and has served as Everton’s finance director since 2013, a position he also held with A-League club Sydney FC.

Responsibilities have included driving profitability, overseeing all banking and funding arrangements and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Chairman Bill Kenwright said: “I am delighted to welcome Sarvar and Grant to our board.

“We’re all greatly looking forward to working with them and benefitting from their different roles and skills.

“Grant has been with us for some time and has served Everton superbly while Sarvar will bring youth and exuberance which I believe is a bonus to most board rooms.

“I know they both understand the real privilege that comes with their roles and I wish them both good fortune in the exciting times ahead for our club.”
