Cenk Tosun has joined Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season.
Tosun’s first-team prospects at Goodison Park have become diminished this season with his last start coming in November’s 2-0 defeat to Norwich City.
In total, the Turkey international made just five appearances in all competitions for the Blues and recorded a solitary goal during that time.
With a place in his country’s squad for Euro 2020 at stake, Tosun has agreed to link up with Roy Hodgson’s side for the remainder of the current campaign.
“We’re delighted to have secured Cenk’s services for the remainder of this season,” said Palace chairman Steve Parish.
“We’ve enjoyed a great first half of the campaign and Cenk’s arrival will bolster our squad as we push for a top-half Premier League finish.
“Cenk has a proven record as a goalscorer and we’ve admired him for some time, so I’m very pleased to welcome him to Crystal Palace.”
