Frank de Boer would ‘love’ to take charge at Everton, according to the Ajax manager’s agent.
De Boer has a year remaining on his current deal with the Eredivisie outfit and is set to discuss his long-term future with the club’s board next week.
But as pressure continues to mount on under-fire Blues boss Roberto Martinez, following yesterday’s 3-1 humiliation by Leicester City, the Barcelona legend is open to a move away from the Amsterdam Arena.
The 45-year-old previously expressed an interest in joining Swansea City and Everton’s arch rivals Liverpool earlier this season, and agent Guido Albers claims that de Boer would be enticed by a potential move to the Goodison Park hot seat.
“He’d love to join a club like Everton or Valencia,” he told NOS.
“It’s all about the right philosophy and how they play football.
“That is what Frank is looking for.”
