Bolasie could make Everton comeback against Swansea

Yannick Bolasie could make his long-awaited Everton return next week.

Bolasie last featured for the Blues over 12 months ago after a knee injury sustained against Manchester United sparked a lengthy lay-off period.

But the winger is on the comeback trail, featuring as a substitute for the Blues’ under-23 outfit in a narrow defeat to Leicester City on Monday.

David Unsworth’s side will taken on Dinamo Zagreb in the Premier League International Cup on Friday evening, with Bolasie again set to feature.

And Allardyce has hinted that the DR Congo international could be a surprise inclusion for Everton’s encounter with Swansea City at Goodison Park next week.

He said: “We’ve got Yannick Bolasie training and will probably play some part in under-23s game tonight.

“We’ll see what happens with that and may depending, on the whole team here, have a discussion for selection on Monday.”
