Everton will face a tough start to their new Premier League campaign.
Ronald Koeman’s second season in charge will begin on August 12 with another opening day at Goodison Park, this time against Stoke City.
But the challenges are set to be far greater for the Blues in the coming weeks of 2017/18 as the new fixture list pits them against four of their top six rivals.
Successive trips to Manchester City and defending champions Chelsea will follow the Potters’ visit before welcoming Tottenham to Goodison on September 9.
Both games against the Londoners and Pep Guardiola’s side will be pushed back a further 24 hours should the Toffees reach the final stage of Europa League qualifiers.
A week later, Manchester United will entertain Everton at Old Trafford with the corresponding fixture currently set to take place on New Year’s Day.
Unlike in recent years, the first Merseyside derby of the season will be at Anfield on December 9 with a return encounter pencilled in for April 7, 2018.
Christmas will see Everton back on the road after they host Chelsea on December 23 with a Boxing Day game at West Brom followed by Bournemouth on December 30.
Koeman’s side will finish the campaign at West Ham on May 13 with Goodison’s final game against the Dutchman’s former club Southampton eight days earlier.
All fixtures are subject to change and TV rescheduling.
