Bill Kenwright has vowed that Everton will sign any players Ronald Koeman wants this summer.
Kenwright made the announcement to supporters during a speech at the club’s end of season awards ceremony in Liverpool city centre on Tuesday.
The Blues chairman’s message came from majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri, who was unable to attend the event, in addressing the club’s future prospects.
Moshiri asked Kenwright to reaffirm Everton’s commitment to their planned move to a new stadium at the Bramley-Moore Dock, on the city’s waterfront.
But fans were also reassured with a pledge to Koeman and director of football Steve Walsh that no player willing to move to Goodison Park will be off limits.
He said: “I spoke to Farhad and I asked him, ‘what is the message?’ – because I knew you’d want to know.
“The message is we are totally focused on getting this club to the dock.
“But, at the same time, that is not going to take away the focus from our commitment to the manager.
“If there is a player who wants to play for Everton Football Club who Ronald wants, who Steve wants, we will get them for you.
“It’s fantastic for me to be able to say that.”
Kenwright also announced that Kevin Mirallas will pen a new long-term contract with Everton on Wednesday.
Mirallas was preparing to enter the final 12 months of his existing deal this summer but is now set to be handed a fresh extension by the Blues.
Since arriving from Olympiakos in 2012, the Belgium international has made 171 appearances for Everton and scored 39 times.
