Everton’s final home game of the Premier League season has been pushed back to a Friday night.
Ronald Koeman’s side had originally been due to see off their penultimate mach of the 2016/17 campaign in front of their own supporters on May 13.
But the Blues will now entertain the Hornets little more than 24 hours prior with a 7.45pm kick-off arranged at Goodison Park on the Friday.
The change was enforced due to Watford’s game with Chelsea being rescheduled to May 15 following the latter’s involvement in the FA Cup semi-final this month.
Everton’s previous Friday night game of the season was a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at Goodison in late September.
