Ronald Koeman will hold talks with Kevin Mirallas following his angry reaction in Everton’s draw with Manchester United.
Mirallas had returned to the starting line-up for the Blues’ trip to Old Trafford but was forced to make way for Matthew Pennington with 20 minutes remaining.
The Belgium international made clear his frustrations at being substituted to the Everton manager as he made his way to the dugout, with his side holding a 1-0 lead at the time.
And Koeman has vowed to address Mirallas’ outburst in the coming days.
He said: “I can understand players, if you substitute them, that they are a little bit disappointed.
“But in the way how he reacted is not a team [response], in my opinion, and I will speak to him about that with him.”
