Romelu Lukaku’s agent has confirmed that the striker will pledge his future to Everton with a new contract.
Ronald Koeman hailed the Belgium international as ‘world class’ after he recorded a four-goal haul in the Blues’ hammering of Bournemouth last weekend.
Lukaku’s current deal at Goodison Park is set to expire in summer 2019 but talks over an extension have failed to deliver a breakthrough in recent months.
But Mino Raiola, the player’s representative, insists that the 23-year-old is set to commit to Everton in the long-term despite contract negotiations still ongoing.
“There are no problems right now between the player and the club,” he told TalkSport.
“Talks are ongoing [but] he WILL sign.”
