Everton chief executive Robert Elstone has confirmed that the club has already tied up a deal with its new shirt sponsor.
The Blues’ 12-year partnership with Chang Beer is set to expire at the end of this season and were recently linked with African gaming company SportPesa.
But Elstone informed shareholders at the club’s General Meeting that an agreement has already been struck with a new, as-yet unnamed partner.
Everton also tied up a separate naming rights deal for their Finch Farm training ground which, combined with the shirt sponsor, will bring in £75 million over five years.
Elstone has also revealed that the club is targeting a second shirt sponsor which will be displayed on the sleeve of their official kits from the 2017/18 season.
He said: “We have secured a naming right partner for the training ground with one company.
“We have a main sponsor for the shirt front and we’re working hard to find a sleeve partner.
“The two deals that we’ve concluded are already banked and secured under legal contract and that will generate £75 million for the club over a five-year period.”
