Everton have been boosted ahead of their Boxing Day trip to Leicester City after Jamie Vardy, Robert Huth and Christian Fuchs were all ruled out of the clash.
Claudio Ranieri’s ailing champions will welcome the Blues in their next game after Monday’s Merseyside derby with Liverpool but will do so without the key trio.
Vardy is set to serve a three-game suspension after being sent off for lunging at Mame Biram Diouf during the Foxes’ 2-2 draw with Stoke City on Saturday.
Defensive duo Fuchs and Huth are also set to be absent for the December 26 encounter at the King Power Stadium after also receiving match suspensions.
The pair were both cautioned in the game with their fifth bookings of the season, which incurs an automatic one-game ban from the Premier League.
