Jose Mourinho set to miss Everton FC showdown

Jose Mourinho could miss Everton’s clash with Manchester United next weekend.

Mourinho was dismissed to the stands after stamped down a water bottle in frustration during the Red Devils’ 1-1 draw with West Ham.

The Portuguese coach was previously given his marching orders at Old Trafford as United were held to a goalless draw by Burnley earlier this month.

He was forced to serve a one-match touchline ban after verbally abusing referee Mark Clattenburg at half time of the game with Sean Dyche’s side.

And Mourinho could now be forced to sit out next Sunday’s showdown between the Blues and United as he faces the prospect of a fresh two-match suspension.

The Football Association warned the ex-Chelsea manager about his future conduct following the Burnley incident which could see him suspended again.

Mourinho’s fate will be determined by match official Jon Moss’ report on the West Ham game.
