Everton duo Aaron Lennon and Kevin Mirallas have both been caught speeding by a camera close to their training ground within minutes of each other.
Former England star Lennon and Belgium international Mirallas were caught breaking the 40mph limit on a temporary restriction area close to Runcorn Bridge.
A court heard today that Mirallas, check 28, discount was driving at 69mph in the area.
Just eleven minutes earlier, help Lennon, was recorded driving in his Land Rover at 56mph.
Mirallas, who lives in Cheshire, pleaded guilty in his absence and he will be sentenced next month. He faces a possible driving ban due to the speed he was caught travelling at.
The court was told Lennon who address was noted in East London did not respond to court papers and as such was found guilty in his absence.
He was given six points on his licence and fined £660.
