Royal Liver Building 360 tour launches gin range

A new range of gins have been released in celebration of the Royal Liver Building’s 108th anniversary.

The Liver Bird inspired gins have been commissioned by the operators of the new Liver Building tour, Royal Liver Building 360, which opened in April of this year.

Since its opening, the tour has seen more than 20,000 people visit the iconic building.

The new gins have been created by Wirral based company, The Handmade Gin Company and local artists The Jones Boys.

They have been specially designed to pay tribute to the legendary Liver Birds, Bella and Bertie, while referencing the history of the famous Grade I listed building.

There are three gins in the range, Bella Gin, Bertie Gin and Nineteen Eleven, which is named after the year the Royal Liver building was completed.

Chris Devaney, operations manager for RLB360, said:

“It is fantastic to celebrate the 108th anniversary of the Royal Liver Building and the new RLB360 tour with this range of specialist gins.

“We have been really lucky to work with a great local distillery in The Handmade Gin Company and with The Jones Boys to create a bespoke product that looks as good as it tastes.”

The gins are now available from the RLB360 gift shop inside the Royal Liver building.
