The Big Chook Off is returning to Yard & Coop this October, providing the folks of Liverpool with FREE buttermilk fried chicken.
On Wednesday 25 October, the Home of Buttermilk Fried Chicken will be swinging open its doors, for everyone to come down to the Hanover Street restaurant and grab themselves some chicken and chips, all completely for free throughout the entire day.
Yard & Coop is planning to once again reach its record of ONE THOUSAND pieces of chicken by getting as many people in the North West visiting the restaurant on Wednesday. The Big Chook Off gives every single person in Liverpool, from families, couples, businesses to students and tourists the chance to stock up, tuck in and get involved with some of the best chicken in the North West.
Carl Morris, co-owner of Yard & Coop, comments: We seriously love our chicken and booze at Yard & Coop, so when our Big Chook Off events come round it’s so awesome to see so many people from the city tuck into our buttermilk fried chicken and fries. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone at the restaurant on Wednesday 25 October, so we can smash our 1000 bird target.”
On the day, Yard & Coop will be collecting for a local homeless charity, White Chapel Centre, with the restaurant doubling the money raised from diners on the day.
Laura Morris, co-owner of Yard & Coop, adds: “This October, the team at Yard & Coop will be donating all the money raised to White Chapel Centre, a local homeless charity in the city. Feeding Liverpool free chicken for the day is amazing, but this time we want to make sure that absolutely everyone from the city gets to benefit from our Big Chook Off.”
To receive your free plate of buttermilk fried chicken and chips, all customers need to do is sign up to Yard & Coop database, this can be done at www.yardandcoop.com/chookoff or in the restaurant on the day.
