Liverpool will host its first ever Bubble Rush event next month.
The 5k course held at the beautiful Croxteth Hall and Park starts in a sea of bubbles and features four Bubble Stations along the route where cannons pump out a plenitude of different coloured bubbles.
Every course is family friendly, so you can run, jog, walk or toddle through the foam. You can even dance if you want to! The most important thing is that you enjoy your time in the bubbles!
At the event held on Sunday, June 18 from 11am, there will be music, food, dancing and bubbletastic entertainment including the famous Dr Zigs Bubble Performers. The park itself has a wonderful play area and petting farm so altogether a perfect setting for a wonderful summer’s day out.
Tickets are £25 per adult and £7.50 per child including a white t-shirt (guaranteed not to be white at the end) and medal on completion.
To book you need to go to www.radiocity.co.uk/bubblerush. The event is being held to help raise funds for two wonderful local charities Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice and Radio City’s Cash for Kids.
Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice provides incredible palliative, respite and end-of-life care to very young children aged from birth to five years suffering from life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
Designed to be a ‘home away from home’ care for very poorly babies, the hospice sees that families recharge their batteries and spend valuable time with their other children or have the chance to catch up on much needed sleep.
Cash for Kids charity was established to channel the caring of the local community into the welfare of their own youngsters.
Using the power of Radio City to deliver initiatives for sick and underprivileged children in the community, benefiting local children and giving the most disadvantaged a better and brighter future.
