UFC champion Conor McGregor will make an exclusive appearance in Liverpool this weekend.
The notorious Irish fighter’s first visit to the city coincides with the culmination of the 2017 Grand National on Saturday, April 8 at Mansion nightclub.
McGregor, 28, will be flying in on his private jet on the morning of the Aintree showpiece and take in the world’s most famous steeplechase in person.
The fighter will also see the best of what Liverpool has to offer courtesy of Mansion’s dedicated team ahead of his show-stopping entrance in a Rolls Royce.
Dean Jones, Mansion’s owner, said: “He’s one of the most famous people in the world right now.
“His fame is enormous even outside of sports circles and I’ve never seen anything like his media impact so obviously it’s a big coup for us to get him to Mansion.
“We only locked down the deal to bring him here yesterday and since we broke the news on our social accounts it’s gone mad, the response has been unbelievable.”
Billed as the biggest celebrity event the city has ever seen, McGregor’s PA has already seen a record-breaking rush for tickets to the Temple Street venue.
Booths and Early Bird places have already sold out but tickets are still available, priced £35 for men and £30 for women.
