A man has denied his role in the death of four people in a Huyton car crash.
Jack Diggle, Benjamin Dooley, Andrew Roberts and Craig Shackleton-Brady were all killed after a Cupra Formentor collided with a lamppost on East Prescot Road.
Inquests into the deaths at Bootle Town Hall found that all four men had died from multiple injuries in the incident, senior coroner’s officer Liam Moss concluded.
Detectives charged James Diggle from West Derby with three counts of aiding and abetting Mr Dooley in causing the three other deaths in the early hours of July 24.
The 27-year-old from West Derby appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday (September 14) to confirm his name and enter pleas to the various charges.
Wearing a blue Nike T-shirt and sporting short dark hair, Diggle was further remanded in custody ahead of facing trial set to start on February 22, 2027.
