Everton have confirmed a third departure from their developmental ranks.

Dan Micciche will leave his role as the club’s player development lead coach next month in order to to pursue a new work opportunity in the Middle East.

The 45-year-old spent two years in the ranks at Finch Farm after his arrival from Crawley Town, where he had served as the club’s assistant manager.

Micciche previously worked for Arsenal, Tottenham, MK Dons and the Football Association before making the move to the Blues in February 2023.

He becomes the latest exit from the Blues’ setup with director of football Kevin Thelwell and loan pathways manager James Vaughan also departing.

Everton’s academy director Gareth Prosser said: “Dan will be leaving the club in May after deciding to take up a new opportunity abroad.

“I’d like to thank him for the work he has done during his time at Everton and wish him well for the future.”
